Applications
Choose innovative or standard methods to suit your application
We apply our processes to a range of products with multiple purposes, from rubber and textiles, to fire protection and for tensile strength.
If your requirement is simple or complex, standard or innovative, we can offer you the benefit of our deep skills and extensive experience to get the optimum solution to your application. We have the facilities to develop new applications and test production of them on our specialized machinery. We can then complete the manufacturing for you, ensuring you get reliable and consistent quality control over the whole run.
You can be sure that your application will be carefully managed and of a very high quality.

Textile and Rubber
Textiles for Silicone Rubber
The Compotex PS system is particularly used for aerospace applications, and is especially good for polyester, glass and silica fabrics.
Textiles for Nitrile Rubber
We utilise an RFL system for textile reinforced sulphur curing nitrile rubber for nylon, activated polyester, aramid, vectran, cotton and rayon.
Textiles for Neoprene
Compotex has advanced production facilities for a wide range of treatments for the adhesion of textiles to neoprene rubber.
Textiles for Natural Rubber and SBR
We offer a number of specifications for the adhesion of different fabrics to NR / SBR. For the different industries and products we recommend a range of RFL formulations.
Textiles for FKM
Compotex offers dipped textiles to peroxide curing FKM rubber. Our technology is water based, with the dipped fabric having a long shelf life.
Textiles for EPDM
Compotex uses water based technologies for the adhesion of textiles to peroxide curing EPDM. An excellent bond is achieved, giving strong dynamic performance.
Narrow fabrics for rubber adhesion
We have developed proven bonding technology for vectran to rubber. Vectran is mostly used with the sulphur curing rubbers, Natural Rubber, SBR, Neoprene and Nitrile.
Vectran fabrics for rubber adhesion
We have developed proven bonding technology for vectran to rubber. Vectran is mostly used with the sulphur curing rubbers, Natural Rubber, SBR, Neoprene and Nitrile.
Polyester fabrics for rubber adhesion
All Compotex processes are water based. Our versatile and adaptable production technology allows us to offer many excellent solutions to our customers.
Nylon (polyamide) fabrics for rubber adhesion
RFL technology works for Natural Rubber, SBR, Chloroprene or Neoprene, and Nitrile Rubber. Compotex offers all these to their customers.
Glass fabrics for rubber adhesion
Compotex has been one of the first companies worldwide to develop water based dipping technologies for the adhesion of glass fabrics to silicone rubber
Cotton and natural fabrics for rubber adhesion
Compotex is ready and prepared to modify existing formulations and develop new specifications for the adhesion of natural textiles to rubber compounds
Aramid fabrics for rubber adhesion
Compotex has developed advanced production technology, and coupled with our specialised manufacturing facilities, are able to offer you a great service for preparing the aramid fabric for adhesion to rubber.
Heat Protection
Glass fabrics with Vermiculite
With carefully controlled Micashield fibre grading, Compotex vermiculite dipped glass fabric is valued for its performance and reliability.
Glass fabrics with Silica
We have a wide range of different glass fabric weights and constructions, and many different silica treatment specifications.
Glass fabrics with Graphite
The most common weights of graphite dipped glass fabrics are at the heavy end of the specification, most commonly between 1000 and 3000 g/sqm.
Weavelocked glass fabrics
Our versatile manufacturing means we have many different weavelocking dip specifications and can develop more as needed.
